Roller chain made of SUS304 stainless steel (clips are SUS301).
It offers greater corrosion resistance than RS® Roller Chain, NP Roller Chain and WP Roller Chain. It can be used in water, acid, alkaline, and other corrosive environments as well as in a wide range of temperatures (-20°C to +400°C (-4 °F to +752°F)). Although SUS304 stainless steel has almost no magnetic properties, Stainless Steel Roller Chain (SS) is manufactured using cold forming, which causes a weak level of magnetism to exist.

For added corrosion resistance the band in the ABA 12 mm Standard is made of Aluzink which gives three times the protection offered by conventional galvanized steel.

Larger size available
ABA Mini features rolled-up band edges that are gentle on hoses. The band tongue that fits under the hose is profiled for added strength. The nut is retained even if the screw is removed. Furthermore the screw has a hexagonal head and can be tightened with an ABA flexible socket wrench. The ABA Mini is particularly suitable for use on small, thin-walled hoses.

The highly general ABA Nova clamp is the ideal choice for smaller dimensions of hoses. The worm gear housing is manufactured in a closely monitored automatic resistance welding process. The base of the housing is cut back and the internal tolerances are very close: a few hundredths of a millimeter. It is available for a wide range of hose dimensions and retains its roundness and sealing qualities even on the smallest of hoses.

The shortcoming PTFE is its susceptiblelity to cold-flow(creep). In this type of gasket, the cold-flow property has been improved with the admixture of an organic filter and the use of a special manufacturing technique. These gaskets combine an excellent heat- and chemical-resistance with a high cold-flow resistance and are ideal for use in pipelines handling all types of chemical products(such as highly concentrated hot sulfuric and nitric acids). They cannot be used for sodium hydroxide and other highly concentrated alkalis and hydrofluoric acid.

These wrapped gaskets use a NON-AS joint sheet instead of the conventional asbestos joint sheet as the center core.
Accordingto the structure of the center core, these gasket are classified into an N and S type. The N type gaskets are designed for general application. In contrast, the S type gaskets have a more sophisticated core structure to suppress the flow characteristics that are the particular feature of PTFE jackets. They are therefore suited for high-temperature and high-pressure application. VALFLON jacket Gaskets are available with three different jacket shapes.

ABA Robust is a heavy-duty clamp with rolled-up band edges. It is used in many applications such
as for sealing heavy-gauge reinforced hoses used for irrigation, drainage, sludge pumping etc. The hexagonal head design allows tightening with an ordinary spanner
or socket wrench. This product has the original heavy duty design with preshaped welding points. ABA Robust comes with three (3) welding points for increased
security for large sizes.
Please note that over 40 mm diameter ABA only use M8 bolts or larger for safe installations.
ABA Robust Standard : All parts are made of high grade carbon steel and are individually electro zinc plated before assembly.
